Accessibility Statement
What we have done to make this site usable for everyone, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us when something does not work.
El Paso Flooring Pros wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings.
Standard we are working to
We aim to conform to the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the standard most commonly referenced for public-facing websites in the United States.
What has been done
- Colour contrast. Text and background combinations across the site have been checked against the WCAG AA contrast thresholds.
- Keyboard access. Every interactive element, including the menu, the accordions and the estimate form, can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and a visible focus outline shows where you are.
- Skip link. A skip link at the top of each page jumps straight to the main content.
- Touch targets. Buttons, links and form controls are sized to at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- Reduced motion. The site respects the operating system reduced-motion preference and turns off entrance animations when it is set.
- Images. Photographs carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Structure. Pages use a single main heading, ordered subheadings, real landmarks and labelled form fields.
- Layout. The site reflows without horizontal scrolling at common desktop, tablet and phone widths.
Known limitations
Some content on this site comes from third-party components, including the form software and any embedded maps or analytics. We do not control the markup those tools produce, and their accessibility may not match the rest of the site. Where we find a barrier we cannot fix directly, we look for an alternative way to give you the same information.

Why this accessibility statement exists
The Department of Justice has published guidance on web accessibility and the ADA explaining that businesses open to the public are expected to make their web content usable by people with disabilities, and naming the barriers that come up most often: poor color contrast, missing alt text, unlabeled form fields and content that cannot be reached with a keyboard. Those four are what we test for on every page here.
We treat accessibility as part of finishing a page, not as a separate audit that happens later. Every color pair on this site was checked against the 4.5:1 contrast minimum, every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, headings run in order so a screen reader can navigate by structure, and no information is carried by color on its own.
