Flooring installation in El Paso comes down to four choices. Tile and natural stone are the most stable over a slab and the coolest underfoot. Rigid core luxury vinyl plank is the best all-round choice for most homes because it is waterproof and handles temperature swings. Engineered wood is the only wood we install directly over a slab. Laminate is the best value for bedrooms and living rooms, and the wrong choice anywhere near water.
Every one of those answers changes with the room, the slab and how the house is used, which is what the free in-home measurement is for.
The two conditions behind all of it are checkable. Soil under any El Paso address can be looked up through the USDA Web Soil Survey, and the humidity swings are recorded by the National Weather Service in El Paso.

Ranges reflect typical El Paso market pricing for installed flooring, not a quote from El Paso Flooring Pros. Your written estimate is the only number that applies to your house.

We do not install carpet. We pull it out, haul it away and get your subfloor ready for tile, plank or hardwood. That is part of the job, not a line item you find out about later.
About carpet removalWe come to your house, measure the real space and walk your material options in the room they will actually live in.
An itemized price before anyone touches a tool. No verbal estimate that turns into a bigger number later.
Old flooring comes out, the subfloor gets leveled and the slab gets prepped for what is going down next.
We install what you bought, or what we sourced for you. Your call from day one.
We schedule around Fort Bliss move dates, including short-notice installs for families coming in or shipping out. Tell us your report date and we build the timeline backward from it.
Tile and natural stone, luxury vinyl plank, hardwood and engineered wood, and laminate. We install hard surfaces only. We remove and haul away old carpet at no extra charge with any hard-surface installation, but we do not install carpet.
Tile and natural stone are the most stable, provided a crack-isolation membrane goes down over a properly prepped slab. Rigid core luxury vinyl plank is the best all-round choice for most homes. Engineered wood is the only wood we install directly over a slab. Solid hardwood over a slab is a bad idea in this climate.
No. The in-home measurement is free, and you get a written itemized quote with material, labor, prep, demo and haul-away broken out separately before anyone touches a tool.
Yes. You pay for labor only, and we install any major brand. The alternative is that we source the material at contractor pricing and quote one all-in installed price. Both include the free measurement, the written quote, old flooring removal and subfloor prep.
Most single rooms are one to three days including demo and prep. Whole-home projects usually run two to four days, longer for natural stone because of sealing, and longer for wood because acclimation happens first. Your written quote has a specific timeline.
Yes. We schedule around report dates and build the timeline backward from your move, including short-notice installs. See our Fort Bliss and PCS flooring page.
