Peak PCS season in El Paso runs through the summer, and it is the same window when every flooring crew in the city is busiest. That is not a reason to panic, it is a reason to get on a calendar early. A measurement costs nothing and it locks in a real date.

What we usually recommend for a military household
Porcelain tile and rigid core luxury vinyl plank. Both are waterproof, both handle El Paso grit, and both take movers, dollies and dog claws better than wood or laminate.
If the house is one you plan to keep and rent out at the next PCS, that durability is the whole argument. If it is one you will sell, hard surface shows better than carpet that has been through a couple of families.

If you are renting, ask first
Improvements you pay for stay with the house. Before you spend money on a floor in a rental near post, get the owner or property manager to approve it in writing. We are happy to send them the itemized quote directly.
If the window is too tight, we will say so
We would rather lose the job than start an install we cannot finish before your movers arrive. If the dates do not work for the material you want, we will tell you what does work, or tell you to wait.

How fast can you install flooring before a PCS move?
Tell us your report date and we build the schedule backward from it. A single room is usually one day once material is on hand, and most whole-home hard-surface projects run two to four days including demo and prep. The two things that add time are material lead time and acclimation for wood or laminate, so the earlier you call, the more options you have.
We have not moved to El Paso yet. Can you quote remotely?
We can talk through options, materials and rough ranges by phone before you arrive, and we schedule the free in-home measurement for as soon as you have access to the house. We do not give a firm written quote without measuring, because a number that changes after we see the slab is worse than no number.
Should we replace flooring in a house we are only in for three years?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no, and we will tell you which. If you own the house and plan to rent it out or sell at the next PCS, hard surface usually pays back at resale and survives tenants better than carpet. If you are renting, talk to your landlord first, because improvements you pay for stay with the house.
Do you work with rental and property-managed homes near Fort Bliss?
Yes, as long as the owner or property manager has approved the work in writing. We are happy to send the written itemized quote directly to them so everyone is looking at the same document.
What flooring holds up best in a house that will see several families?
Do you remove the carpet the last family left?
